Αξιότιμε κύριε Δήμαρχε,
Αξιότιμε κύριε Πρόεδρε,

Διάβασα με μεγάλη προσοχή τη συνέντευξή σας σχετικά με τη λειτουργία και την πορεία της μονάδας εμφιάλωσης του Ξυνού Νερού και πραγματικά δεν μπορείτε να φανταστείτε πόσο χάρηκα με τις θετικές εξελίξεις.

Είναι ιδιαίτερα σημαντικό και αισιόδοξο το γεγονός ότι η μονάδα πηγαίνει πάρα πολύ καλά και, ακόμη περισσότερο, ότι προχωρά η δημιουργία νέας σύγχρονης μονάδας στην περιοχή, κάτι που εμείς ως Σύλλογος λέγαμε και υποστηρίζαμε εδώ και πολλά χρόνια.

Η τελευταία μας επίσκεψη στον Δήμο Αμυνταίου, με το Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο του Συλλόγου μας, ήταν μια σημαντική προσπάθεια να γνωρίσουμε από κοντά, από την αρχή, τα προβλήματα και τις δυνατότητες που υπάρχουν σχετικά με τις ιαματικές πηγές της περιοχής.

Κατά την επίσκεψή μας είχαμε επισκεφθεί και το εργοστάσιο εμφιάλωσης, όπου εκείνη την εποχή η παραγωγή δεν ήταν αυτή που θα έπρεπε να είναι. Δεν μπορούσαμε τότε να γνωρίζουμε ότι θα ακολουθούσε η σημαντική ανάπτυξη στην οποία σήμερα αναφέρεστε, ιδιαίτερα μετά τις περιπέτειες και τις δυσκολίες που αντιμετώπισε η επιχείρηση.

Εγώ προσωπικά, ως Πρόεδρος του Συνδέσμου Δήμων Ιαματικών Πηγών, στον οποίο υπήρξα και ιδρυτής, και αργότερα ως Πρόεδρος του Πανελλήνιου Συλλόγου Ιαματικών Πηγών και Λουτροπόλεων Ελλάδας, γνωρίζω πολύ καλά την ιστορία του Ξυνού Νερού.

Το Ξυνό Νερό, που αρχικά βρισκόταν σε ιδιωτικά χέρια, αποτέλεσε για πολλά χρόνια αντικείμενο μεγάλου αγώνα, προκειμένου να περάσει στην τότε Κοινότητα και σήμερα στον Δήμο Αμυνταίου.

Γι’ αυτό και αισθάνομαι ιδιαίτερη χαρά και ικανοποίηση βλέποντας σήμερα μια δημοτική επιχείρηση να αναπτύσσεται δυναμικά, με τον τζίρο της να ξεπερνά, σύμφωνα με τα στοιχεία που αναφέρονται, τα 10 εκατομμύρια ευρώ.

Αυτό αποτελεί μια μεγάλη επιτυχία όχι μόνο για τη μονάδα, αλλά και για τον ίδιο τον Δήμο Αμυνταίου.

Ως Σύλλογος βλέπουμε πλέον το Ξυνό Νερό στα σούπερ μάρκετ σε ολόκληρη τη χώρα. Είναι ένα προϊόν που έχει κερδίσει την εμπιστοσύνη του καταναλωτικού κοινού και έχει αποκτήσει τη δική του ξεχωριστή θέση στην αγορά.

Και αυτό μας χαροποιεί ιδιαίτερα, γιατί αποδεικνύεται στην πράξη ότι μια δημοτική επιχείρηση μπορεί όχι μόνο να λειτουργήσει, αλλά να αναπτυχθεί, να δημιουργήσει οικονομική αξία και να γίνει πρεσβευτής ενός ολόκληρου τόπου.

Πάντα υποστηρίζαμε ότι οι δημοτικές επιχειρήσεις, όταν υπάρχει σωστή οργάνωση, όραμα και προσπάθεια, μπορούν να αποτελέσουν σημαντικό μοχλό ανάπτυξης για την τοπική κοινωνία.

ΤΟ ΞΥΝΟ ΝΕΡΟ ΜΠΟΡΕΙ ΝΑ ΤΑΞΙΔΕΨΕΙ ΣΕ ΟΛΟ ΤΟΝ ΚΟΣΜΟ

Ελπίζουμε, κύριε Πρόεδρε και κύριε Δήμαρχε, ότι μέσα στο 2027 θα λειτουργήσει η νέα μονάδα, δίνοντας ακόμη μεγαλύτερη δυναμική στο Ξυνό Νερό.

Η δική μας ευχή είναι το θαυμάσιο αυτό νερό να αποκτήσει ακόμη μεγαλύτερη παρουσία στην ελληνική αγορά και να μπορέσει να ταξιδέψει σε όλα τα μέρη της Ελλάδας και του κόσμου, όπως έχει καταφέρει και η Σουρωτή.

Το Ξυνό Νερό δεν είναι απλώς ένα ακόμη εμφιαλωμένο νερό.

Είναι ένα προϊόν με ιστορία, ταυτότητα και ιδιαίτερη αξία, που μπορεί να αποτελέσει έναν από τους καλύτερους πρεσβευτές του Δήμου Αμυνταίου και ολόκληρης της περιοχής.

Πολλές φορές στο παρελθόν επιχειρήθηκε η αγορά της μονάδας από ιδιώτες επιχειρηματίες, χωρίς τελικά να προχωρήσει. Εμείς, ως Σύλλογος, πάντα υποστηρίζαμε ότι αυτό το θαυμάσιο νερό θα πρέπει να αποκτήσει μια σύγχρονη, δυναμική και εξωστρεφή μονάδα, ώστε να μπορεί να φτάσει σε κάθε γωνιά της Ελλάδας και, γιατί όχι, σε όλες τις αγορές του κόσμου.

Για ακόμη μία φορά θέλουμε να σας ενημερώσουμε, κύριε Πρόεδρε και κύριε Δήμαρχε, ότι εφόσον τα καταφέρουμε, θα επισκεφθούμε ξανά αυτή την ιστορική μονάδα του Ξυνού Νερού.

Παράλληλα, θα θέλαμε να δούμε από κοντά και την πορεία των λουτρών της περιοχής, τα οποία είχαμε επισκεφθεί και στο παρελθόν.

Μας κάνει πραγματικά μεγάλη εντύπωση και μας χαροποιεί το γεγονός ότι η ανάπτυξη της μονάδας του Ξυνού Νερού μπορεί να δημιουργήσει νέες δυνατότητες για ολόκληρη την περιοχή του Δήμου Αμυνταίου.

Το Ξυνό Νερό μπορεί και πρέπει να γίνει η αφετηρία για μια ευρύτερη προβολή του Δήμου, των ιαματικών πηγών, των λουτρών, του φυσικού πλούτου και όλων των συγκριτικών πλεονεκτημάτων της περιοχής.

Ένα δυνατό Ξυνό Νερό σημαίνει έναν πιο δυναμικό Δήμο Αμυνταίου.

Και ένας δυναμικός Δήμος Αμυνταίου μπορεί να γίνει ένας σημαντικός προορισμός ανάπτυξης, τουρισμού και επιχειρηματικότητας.

Για μία ακόμη φορά, εκφράζουμε τα θερμά μας συγχαρητήρια στον Δήμο Αμυνταίου, στη διοίκηση και σε όλους όσοι εργάζονται για την επιτυχία της μονάδας του Ξυνού Νερού.

Σας ευχόμαστε ακόμη μεγαλύτερη ανάπτυξη, νέες αγορές και το Ξυνό Νερό να ταξιδέψει πολύ πέρα από τα ελληνικά σύνορα, κάνοντας γνωστό σε όλο τον κόσμο το όνομα του Αμυνταίου.

Dear Mr. Mayor,
Dear Mr. President,

I read with great attention your recent interview regarding the operation and development of the Xino Nero Bottling Plant, and I cannot express how pleased I was to hear about these very positive developments.

It is particularly encouraging that the plant is performing so well and, even more importantly, that a new and modern bottling facility is being developed in the area. This is something that we, as an Association, have been talking about and supporting for many years.

Our last visit to the Municipality of Amyntaio, together with the Board of Directors of our Association, was an important opportunity to learn first-hand about the situation, the challenges and the prospects concerning the thermal springs of the area.

During that visit, we also visited the bottling plant. At that time, production was not at the level it should have been. We could not have imagined then that the plant would achieve the significant development that you are describing today, especially after the difficulties and challenges that the enterprise had faced over the years.

Personally, as President of the Association of Municipalities of Thermal Springs, of which I was also a founding member, and later as President of the Panhellenic Association of Thermal Springs and Spa Towns of Greece, I am very familiar with the history of Xino Nero.

Xino Nero was originally privately owned, and for many years we made a strong effort for this important natural resource to pass to the former Community and, today, to the Municipality of Amyntaio.

For this reason, I feel particularly proud and pleased to see today a municipal enterprise developing dynamically, with its turnover, according to the figures presented, exceeding €10 million.

This is a significant achievement not only for the enterprise itself, but also for the Municipality of Amyntaio and the wider region.

As an Association, we are pleased to see Xino Nero available in supermarkets throughout Greece. It is a product that has gained the trust of consumers and has established its own distinctive position in the market.

This gives us particular satisfaction because it demonstrates in practice that a municipal enterprise can not only operate successfully, but can also grow, create economic value and become an ambassador for an entire region.

We have always maintained that municipal enterprises, when supported by proper organisation, vision and determination, can become important engines of development for their local communities.

XINO NERO CAN TRAVEL AROUND THE WORLD

We sincerely hope, Mr. President and Mr. Mayor, that the new bottling plant will become operational in 2027, giving Xino Nero even greater momentum and international potential.

Our wish is for this exceptional water to gain an even stronger presence in the Greek market and to reach every part of Greece and, ultimately, markets around the world, just as other well-known Greek bottled waters have successfully done.

Xino Nero is not simply another bottled water.

It is a product with history, identity and distinctive character, capable of becoming one of the strongest ambassadors of the Municipality of Amyntaio and the wider region.

In the past, there were several attempts by private investors to acquire the plant, but ultimately these efforts did not succeed. We, as an Association, have always believed that this exceptional water deserves a modern, dynamic and outward-looking production facility, capable of bringing Xino Nero to every corner of Greece and, in the future, to international markets.

We would also like to inform you, Mr. President and Mr. Mayor, that, if possible, we intend to visit once again this historic Xino Nero bottling plant.

At the same time, we would be very interested in seeing the current situation and prospects of the thermal baths in the area, which we also visited during our previous visit.

We are particularly impressed by the fact that the development of Xino Nero can create new opportunities for the entire Municipality of Amyntaio.

Xino Nero can and should become the starting point for the wider promotion of the Municipality, its thermal springs, its spa facilities, its natural wealth and all the competitive advantages of the region.

A strong Xino Nero means a stronger Municipality of Amyntaio.

And a dynamic Municipality of Amyntaio can become an important destination for development, tourism, investment and entrepreneurship.

Once again, we extend our warmest congratulations to the Municipality of Amyntaio, its administration and everyone who is working for the success and further development of Xino Nero.

We wish you continued growth, new markets and every success in your future plans.

May Xino Nero travel far beyond the borders of Greece and make the name of Amyntaio known throughout Europe and the world.
